Another high point in Edinburgh is at the top of Calton Hill, the location of a prehistoric fort. These days it is he location of several iconic monuments, and it is the spot for close-up panoramic views of Old Town Edinburgh and surrounding areas. The Edinburg Castle is located in the center of the photo. Since we had another day of sun, without any rain, Mike opted to make Calton Hill the destination for his out-and-back exercise walk. Once again, strangely, he opted to walk in the cold wind with shorts; maybe he is trying to be Scottish.
