| Chartered Bus |
What a perfect finale to our three-month stay. We spent our final day in Scotland on a hill walk with the All Year Ramblers club. On occasion, the Club will forego public bus and train travel in favor of a chartered bus (see photo). This allows for a much larger group (we had 37), and it allows for a more remote destination. Lucky for us that this hill walk coincided with the conclusion of our trip here. Lucky, because after the day was spent hill walking, all gathered prior to re-boarding the bus for the return trip. We gathered in a UNESCO World Heritage site with a pub where, as the group was gathered, we toasted our friendship.
The best of friends meet but to part
And go upon their way
Yet only part to meet again
Upon another day
